Transaction security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Personal firewalls

Personal firewalls. We at www.thegorestore.co.uk have noticed an increase in the use of personal firewall software (e.g. Zone Alarm, PTF, TERMinate and many others). Under certain circumstances these Firewalls may deny access to our (and other web sites) secure servers. To enable access to secure servers, check that the firewall is configured to allow the web browser to connect over port 443 (SSL). We have also seen instances whereby stopping and restarting the firewall may resolve connectivity problems.

Payment by phone

If you do not want to enter your credit card details on the website, we do accept orders by phone.  Please note customer not present orders can only be delivered to the card holders address.
